Joint Club Ride & Overnight Camp
to Candelo, SENSW

BMWMCCACT meet Williamsdale lay by fueled to go @ 1130.  The TC has some route changes due to locale road intel on closures. Or meet at the Bredbo Inn for early lunch and planned departure 1230.

Join members of the BMW Touring Club NSW in a weekend ride and overnight camp at Candelo (Reserve) NSW or make it a day ride.  Details below and make sure to register as the Saturday night dinner at the Candelo Hotel is number capped.

Depart Bredbo Inn Hotel 12.30pm Sat, Early Lunch. Get your fuel in Canberra.  

GS.  Jerangle Rd. Snowball Rd, Snowy Mountain Highway, Packers Swamp Rd, to Alexanders Hut. 

Back out to Packers Swamp Rd onto Newline Rd left to Tatawangalo Rd left and down to Candelo. APPROX 4 ½ HRS 229 Km.  Google Map.

Option. Bredbo to top of the Brown Mountain. Turn off on Packers Swamp Rd to Alexanders Hut.2 ¾ HRS 154 Km.  Google Map.

GS Enduro.  from Alexanders Hut via Postman’s Track (involves a creek crossing - to Boxer cylinder heads) to Tatawangalo Rd and onto Candelo.  Google Map

TS Road.   Bredbo, Cooma, Bombala (Fuel Up). Down MT Darragh to Wyndham ,1 Km out turn left go over Myrtle mountain Rd to Candelo. Approx. 2 ½ hrs.  Google Map

Sunday.   Make your own way home Back up the Brown Mountain or to where ever.  BMWMCCACT members will take a run up the coast to Moruya, GS riders for Araluen and TS group to ride up to Batemans Bay and Kings Highway.

Camping.     Sports Rec ground, only toilets, donation accepted.

Dinner.        At the Candelo Hotel. Covid rules apply. 40 people max.

Breakfast. Candelo Store and Café. Quite a nice place opens 8.30 AM, for whatever takes your fancy, coffee, E&B roll Cakes etc. outside tables and chairs 20 odd people. COVID-19 rules apply.

Fuel. Available, Cooma, Bombala. None in Candelo as it closes 1 pm Sat or Sunday.  No fuel along the dirt options. 20 minutes to Merimbula, Pambula and Bega from Candelo.

Come and enjoy some of the far south coasts lovely roads and scenery. At a leisurely pace.
