BMWTCNSW members are meeting for lunch at the Bemboka Hotel and Cafe (recently reopened under new management) and they’ve invited BMWMCC members to join them. So why not join the Club for a ride over the Monaro Plains and down Brown Mtn for a 12:00 lunch meet-up? 

Either make your own way there, or if you’re keen on a group ride, then:

Outbound ex. Michelago General Store: via Monaro Hwy and Snowy Mtns Hwy (138 km):  Google Maps

Return: each to their own and to decide on the day, with options including:

• Retracing outbound route (139 km): Google Maps 
• Via Candelo, Mt Darragh and Bombala (for the corner enthusiasts (248km)): Google Maps

Approximately 280 - 390 km return (from/to Michelago) on sealed main and secondary roads (expect some damaged surfaces).

Fuel: Available in Michelago, Cooma and Nimmitabel.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go (both you and your bike!) at Michelago General Store (50 Ryrie St, Michelago) for a 10:10 departure.

Note: We’re riding straight through with no rest stop, so if you’re programmed to eat mid-morning, suggest you fill up at Michelago first!

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the pub.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the pub, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

• Michelago General Store (50 Ryrie St, Michelago) - leaving 10:10
• Cooma (Polo Flat roundabout) – arriving 10:55 (not stopping)
• Bemboka Hotel and Café (Loftus St, Bemboka) - arriving 11:55.
