Like riding around Central West NSW? Then why not join the Club for a longer Saturday ride to Cargo and the foothills of Mount Canobolas, for lunch at the historic Cargo Inn (252km)? Prefer a shorter ride – then join us for the first leg through to Boorowa for coffee (100km one way)? Keen on an overnight ride - then use Cargo as your starting point?

Outbound: via the Barton and Hume Hwys and Lachlan Valley Way to Boorowa (coffee), then Frogmore and Darbys Falls Rds to Cowra, Binni Creek Rd, Belubula Way and onto Cargo Rd (past the Big Peg!) to Cargo for lunch (252km): Google Maps

• GS breakout option ex. Boorowa: via Kenyu Rd, Cocomingla Lane, Bennett Springs Rd and Reids Flat Rd to LVW, then onto Cowra to pick up Binni Creek Rd and onto Cargo as per TS route above (141km): Google Maps

Return: Each to their own and to decide on the day, with options including:

• Via Canowindra, Cowra and Boorowa (230km): Google Maps
• Via Cargo-Woodstock-Frogmore-Boorowa-Nicholls (245km): Google Maps

Approximately 480-500km return (ex. Ampol Foodary, Nicholls) on sealed main and secondary roads (expect some damaged surfaces).

Fuel: Available in Boorowa, Canowindra and Cowra.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) for a prompt 08:10 departure.
