If you’re keen for a shorter weekend ride, then why not join the Club and BMWTCNSW members for a ride through the Monaro Plains to lunch at Buckley’s Crossing Hotel, Dalgety?

Outbound ex. Michelago General Store: via Monaro Hwy, Kosciuszko Rd and Dalgety Rd (115 km):  Google Maps  

Return: via Snowy River Way, Maffra Rd to Cooma and then a rerun of the Monaro Hwy back to Michelago:  Google Maps

Approximately 230 km return (from/to Michelago) on sealed main and secondary roads (expect some damaged surfaces).

Fuel: Available in Michelago, Berridale and Cooma.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go (both you and your bike!) at Michelago General Store (50 Ryrie St, Michelago) for a prompt 10:30 departure.

Note: We’re riding straight through with no rest stop, so if you’re programmed to eat mid-morning, suggest you fill up at Michelago first!

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the pub.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the pub, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

• Michelago General Store (50 Ryrie St, Michelago) - leaving 10:30
• Cooma – arriving & leaving 11:20 (not stopping)
• Buckley’s Crossing Hotel (1 Brierly St, Dalgety)  - arriving 12:00.
