Update 14 November 2024 - Ride changed to Hotel Koorawatha due to possible temporary closure this week of Gooloogong Hotel

Keen for a Sunday ride? Then why not join the Club for a run through Boorowa, Frogmore, Darbys Falls, Cowra and onto Koorawatha, for lunch at Hotel Koorawatha (approx. 380 km return)? If a shorter ride’s more your thing, then why not join for the first leg through to Boorowa for coffee (200 km return)?

Approximately 380 km return on sealed main and secondary roads.

Fuel: Available in Cowra and Boorowa.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) for a prompt 08:30 departure.

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the Pub.

Register if you're interested in coming so I can let the Pub know likely numbers for lunch. Please email rides@bmwmcc.au if you plan to meet the group on the way or at the Pub, or head elsewhere after coffee in Boorowa.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the Pub, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

• Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) - leaving 08:30;
• Boorowa Bakery (or similar cafe), Marsden St, Boorowa (coffee stop) – arriving 09:50, leaving by 10:30; and
• Hotel Koorawatha, 4340 Olympic Hwy, Koorawatha  - arriving 12:10 (lunch booking @12:15).
