Update 3/7/24 - Outbound GM link - Minor change to now exit Binalong via Wellington St.

It’s almost halfway through Winter! Why not layer up/test out your heated gear and come join the Club for a Sunday ride through to Koorawatha for lunch at Hotel Koorawatha?  Or if you'd prefer a shorter ride, why not join the first leg through to Binalong for coffee (83 km)?

Outbound via Binalong (coffee/thaw-out stop), Harden, Wombat, Young and onto Koorawatha for lunch at 12:15 (190 km):  Google Maps  

Return - various options (each to their own and to decide on the day), e.g.:

• Via Wattamondara and Boorowa (181 km):  Google Maps  
• Via Chews Lane and Murringo Gap Rd (TS2 - scenic short cut bypassing Young – sealed but can be bumpy (161 km):  Google Maps   
• Retrace outbound route (192 km):  Google Maps   

Approximately 350-385 km on sealed main and secondary roads but expect some damaged surfaces.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) for a prompt 09:00 departure.

GS Riders: Those keen to detour onto gravel or dirt are more than welcome to join en route, or at the Pub.

Fuel: Available in Harden, Young and Boorowa.

Register if you're interested in coming so I can let the Pub know likely numbers for lunch. Please email rides@bmwmcc.au if you plan to meet the group on the way or at the Pub so we don’t wait for you unnecessarily.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the Pub, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are: 

• Ampol/Caltex Foodary, Gold Creek (Nicholls) – leaving 09:00
• Murrumbateman Country Inn – arriving 09:25 (not stopping)
• 2 Little Pigs cafe, 33 Fitzroy St, Binalong (coffee stop) – arriving 10:00, leaving by 10:40
• Hotel Koorawatha - arriving 12:10 (lunch booking @12:15)
